wow. so this is what it feels to have all the time in the world. when nothing would depend on how fast you move, how easy you decide. when nothing else matters except, ano nga ba? hhehehe.. my first day off of work. wow. march 1 came sooner than later... "ha?! last day mo na? seryoso?"

common questions and statements yesterday when people found out that it was my last day at WaMu and that i am really leaving, for real. na hindi na ako nagjojoke this time when i say aalis na ako.. hehe.. mixed emotions.. pero sobrang naexcite lang ako umalis sa phones at ayoko na talaga magtawag kahapon.. our VP was surprised to know that it was my last day.. bakit daw di nakarating sa kanya yon.. naks lakas ko talaga kay randy bwahahah.. he asked me straight forwardly what call center i'm now at..i laughed and said i'm just be bumming at home for now. " aw, c'mon, seriously, where would you be transferring?" was all he said not believing me.. " i know everybody!" he said indicating the connections between call centers.. hehe.. nowadays, when you leave one call center, they'll expect you'll be transferring due to a better offer. he even said that i'll just be staying home for the lenten season and if and only if by june i still am not in a call center, he'll treat my team to breakfast.. haha breakfast only? :) kidding. he was nice enough to give me his calling card in case i need recommendations and for references. our baguio team (that's half the team hehe) plus kate this time joined me for lunch at MOA after shift.. wahahaha nakarating din ako at last! leche. aalis na at lahat ng maynila ngayon lang nakarating e noh.. hehe.. chibog kung chibog..picture kung picture..  then gave their own parting gifts.. naks.. (sniff sniff) msaya. malungkot kasi ayaw kong matapos ang araw pero kelangan pa nila matulog. pero naisip ko, kelangan talaga magmove on sa buhay. walang mangyayari kung magststay tayo kasi malulungkot tayong iwan ang mga tao. success would result from sacrifices and hardwork. i just have to always remember what are the reasons why i decided to leave. what made me do this. where do i want to go and what should i do to get there... for now... it's a wierd feeling to have all the time in the world.. i have to leave manila soon. haha. kelangan ko din nga pala umuwi ng elbi.. hehe.. pero bago yon... mga huling silay, huling halik, huling yakap, huling picture, huling swipe ng ID, hindi pa huling balik sa office at clearance pa.. hahaha... friends would always be friends kahit hindi pa tayo lagi magkksama... diba mga dude??!
we had our baguio getway na (pics soon to come.. hehe paguwi ko pa ako magupload~)--that also means it's just how many days na lang before i resign, i mean before my resignation becomes effective. march 1. a day i was so desperately wishing to come sooner than later.
but now..... hay sabi ko nga ako nga lang ang taong nalulungkot at sa wakas nagawa din magresign! di ko na sila makikita lagi. sabi ni pia, kahit mahirap at least sama-sama kaming naghihirap.. pero ayoko na e.. pero bakit ang lungkot? bakit ang sad tlga umalis? change is so hard. after you adapt to the big change, here comes another one that you have to get used to.
meron 4k bonus samin as retention program. sabi ko hindi ako nasisilaw dyan sa 4000 na yan.. (leche bakit kasi ngayon lang inilabas e!) madami na daw kasi umaalis sa account.. (sigh) pero no.. i have to say no because this is what i want. i am just having second thoughts because of my friends.

There's something to be said about a glass half full. About knowing when to say when. I think it's a floating line. A barometer of need and desire. It's entirely up to the individual. And depends on what's being poured. Sometimes all we want is a taste. Other times there's no such thing as enough, the glass is bottomless. And all we want, is more.

Maybe we're not supposed to be happy. Maybe gratitude has nothing to do with joy. Maybe being grateful means recognizing what you have for what it is. Appreciating small victories. Admiring the struggle it takes simply to be human. Maybe we're thankful for the familiar things we know. And maybe we're thankful for the things we'll never know. At the end of the day, the fact that we have the courage to still be standing is reason enough to celebrate.
